The Sly Credit Card Guide
This is the Sly Credit Card Guide. Here you will find cards available by promotions, sign up bonus amounts, airline miles, hotel points, and credit score. From this, you will learn how to choose a credit card based on the benefits and the best possible option for you. This is a work in progress list and I’ve started with all the 0% APR credit cards you can get from most major banks.
Required Credit Score: Although many of these credit cards have some high credit score requirements like 750, people have been approved with scores as low as 700. These credit score numbers are a compilation of numbers found from multiple financial resources where I took the average. Even if you have a score that isn’t as high as the required credit score, you still have a chance of getting approved for the credit card.
Reconsideration: If your credit card application is denied, you can call the bank and find out way. Get details and ask them if there’s anything you can do now to be reconsidered for the credit card approval. Sometimes they’ll just approve it if you call. Other times they’ll work with you to find a way for you to get approved.
0% APR Credit Cards
If you’re having trouble getting a credit card due to a low score, you can try applying for a credit card with smaller local banks and credit unions. Your odds of getting approved for a credit card will be higher than a national bank chain. Alternatively, you can work on improving your credit or get a credit boost so you’ll be eligible for the credit card you would like.
